From Advocates:

Full name, email, phone, Bar Council enrollment number, enrollment certificate (image/PDF), degree certificate (image/PDF), photograph, city, state, practice areas.

From Citizens:

Legal issue description via intake form, contact details if voluntarily provided.

From Interns:

Name, email, law school, year of study.

Technical:

Web analytics, IP addresses, device information via standard web infrastructure.

HOW WE USE DATA

Advocate data: To create and display public listings on legallink.one
Citizen intake data: Processed by Sarvam AI and Groq to generate structured summaries
Intern data: To match with relevant internship opportunities

AI PROCESSING DISCLOSURE

LegalLink uses Sarvam AI (primary) and Groq (fallback/document generation). Citizen intake form text is transmitted to these services to generate summaries and documents. No advocate identity documents, enrollment certificates, or degree documents are transmitted to any AI provider.

DATA STORAGE

Stored on Supabase infrastructure.
Server region: Mumbai, India.
Encryption: TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest.
Database provider is SOC 2 Type II certified.
